Krassi Jeliazkov was born on December 21, 1958, in Varna. At the age of 13 he got interested in playing the guitar thanks to his friends in the neighbourhood. A meeting with the famous Varna teachers Lubomir Haralampiev – The Captain and Alexander Petkov played a prominent role in his life. The first one lights up his love for classical guitar and the other one pushes him towards blues, rock and jazz.
Thanks to the tape recorder he learns from the records of Andres Segovia, Django Reinhardt, Pat Martino and others. At that time his favourite bands are Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ELP, Pink Floyd, Earth, Wind & Fire, etc.
His insatiable thirst for knowledge motivates him to pass through various musical styles that refine his skills and develope his performing style. Over the years he manages to accumulate substantial knowledge in playing rock, blues, jazz, gypsy jazz and acoustics guitar.
Among the names that inspire him and give strength to his artistic development are Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, Tommy Emmanuel, Gary Moore, Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report, Snarky Puppy and others.
2012 – 2016 he teaches classical, acoustic, electric and bass guitar at the renowned music school Brooklyn Melodies Music Centre in Dubai UAE, in the frame of the programs ABRSM, Rockshool UK, Gypsy jazz & Acoustic.

EDUCATION:
Krassi graduates his bachelor’s degree in the Pop & Jazz department at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”. After years of touring at home and abroad he graduates a master‘s degree in pop guitar at the New Bulgarian University.
PARTICIPATIONS:
As student Krassi plays in the orchestra of pianist Vlatko Radulov and founds the jazz quartet “Montuno” which participates in all forums in the country. He plays several years in “Swing Dixie Band – Gabrovo” conducted by the great piano player, composer and arranger Manol Tsokov. Over the years he takes part in Varna Big Band conducted by Dimitar Andreev, the orchestras of Bulgarian State Circus and Raycho Ivanov, the bands of Emil Dimitrov and Lili Ivanova, etc. Creator, producer, manager and guitar player of the unique ethnic ensemble “Balkan Horses Band” which performs at dozens of international festivals and concerts in Bulgaria and Europe.
